Takari is an Aboriginal word meaning ‘tomorrow’ (or future). Takari Primary School looks to develop tomorrow’s leaders. Established in 1969, Takari is located in the northern suburbs of Perth in the Balcatta area. We are a small school where every child is known and valued. The Takari staff is committed to providing a supportive, safe and nurturing environment to all our students. Our school prides itself on being culturally diverse. Our students are encouraged to celebrate differences and welcome others into the school community. We have a strong academic focus, and staff are dedicated to providing an environment where students are both supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.
